Neurofeedback is a gentle, non-invasive way to train the brain. We offer personalised programs for children from age 5 through to adults, and you can do your sessions at home.
Who it can help
We work with children, teenagers and adults looking for support with:
- Anxiety and stress: feeling calmer and finding it easier to unwind
- Depression: supporting mood and emotional wellbeing alongside other care
- ADHD: improving attention, focus and self-control
- Sleep: relaxing and settling more easily at bedtime
- Emotional regulation: managing big feelings and reactions
How it works
Neurofeedback shows your brain its own activity in real time. While you watch a show, play a game or listen to sound, the screen responds to your brainwaves. When your brain moves towards the target pattern, the picture gets clearer or the video keeps playing. Over time, your brain learns to settle into those patterns more easily.
There's nothing to force and nothing to learn about brainwaves. Just relax and watch. The sensors only read brain activity. They don't send anything into the brain.
Starting with an assessment
Your first step is a brain assessment using the BrainBit Flex cap, which rests comfortably on the head. A neuropsychologist reviews the results, along with your history, symptoms and goals, to design a training program for you on the Divergence Neuro platform.
The assessment guides your training. It isn't a diagnosis on its own.
Training at home
We rent you the equipment, so there's no need to buy your own device. We'll show you how to fit the cap, connect the app and start your program. All you need is a quiet space and a compatible tablet, phone or computer.
We check your progress regularly and adjust your program as you go, so you get professional guidance while training on your own schedule.
Good to know
Research into neurofeedback is ongoing, and results vary from person to person. It works well alongside other psychological and medical care.
